  4. Easy Comm is a shareware program. It means that you can freely copy it,
  5. give the copies to friends, and test it. Once you decide that the program
  6. is useful for you and you want to use it you should register. Registration
  7. rules are described below.

  9. Benefits of registering:
  10. ------------------------
  11. By registering first of all you become legally entitled to use the program.
  12. But there are other benefits of registering:
  13. - you will be informed about future upgrades and you will be eligible for
  14.   free upgrades for a 1-year period;
  15. - you will be entitled to a free phone support: (204) 943-4020;
  16. - you will receive a newsletter twice a year;
  17. - the introductory screen will not be displayed on startup.

  19. How to register:
  20. ----------------
  21. Registering is easy. Using Easy Comm's text editor open the appropriate file
  22. which contains a registration form and fill it in.
  23. If you are going to use Easy Comm:
  24. - on a single computer: use FORM1.TXT file for registration;
  25. - on a network or more than 1 computer: use FORM2.TXT.
  26. After filling in print out the form, attach the appropriate payment and mail
  27. it to the following address:

  33. Registration fee policy:
  34. ------------------------
  35. Beginning with version 2.23 we are setting the following registration fee
  36. policy:
  37. 1) Single computer registration:
  38. - to register fill in the registration form in FORM1.TXT file;
  39. - new users can register for $35 U.S. plus $3 for shipping and handling;
  40. - users registered for versions below 2.0 can upgrade to 2.23 paying $10
  41.   plus $3 for shipping and handling.

  43. 2) Network or multiple-computers registration:
  44. - to register fill in the registration form in FORM2.TXT file;
  45. - the registration fee depends on the number of computers on which Easy
  46.   Comm will be used;
  47. - one disk will be send and one copy of the manual regardless of the number
  48.   of computers on which Easy Comm will be installed;
  49. - registration fee for the first computer: $35 plus $3 for shipping and
  50.   handling;
  51. - registration fee for all remaining computers: $17.50 per computer.

  53. For example if you want to register Easy Comm for 5 computers you have to
  54. pay the following fee: 35+3+4*17.50=$108.

  58. Users in Canada can register in Canadian Dollars.
  59. Only money orders, personal cheques, and cash are accepted.
